International Wine & Food Festival Taking Place This Month

The 1st Cancun-Riviera Maya Food & Wine Festival 2012 is scheduled to take place in Cancun on March 15th-18th. The event will honor the Mexican Gastronomy designated by UNESCO as a "Masterpiece of the Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity" & hosted by prestigious chefs from the whole continent. The Riviera Maya Film Festival Coming Soon

The Riviera Maya Film Festival is a film promotion platform with an exhibition program that includes the ultimate productions of the major movie studios and the new proposals of independent films from Mexico and the rest of the world. Riviera Maya is Safe for U.S. Visitors

State Department has updated its travel warning on Mexico to include more detail on the ongoing drug violence and threats to visitors. Specifically, the Mexican Caribbean is excluded from the warning: Quintana Roo (Cancun, Riviera Maya & Costa Maya) & Yucatán are safe for all visitors. Read the full update here.
